Join the Beehive Design Collective for a workshop and discussion on ways to make popular education transgress boundaries that divide and debilitate us. How can we use popular education to strengthen our cultures of resistance and liberation struggles? The Bees will share their experiences and some tools they have found useful in their work. The second half of the workshop will be a discussion around our collective experiences and ideas.
We are actively inviting TC groups that are invested in socially conscious people’s education, and who are interested in thinking about ways we can broaden our movements to strengthen our struggles. We hope that the discussion will reflect an array of experiences from across the board, so even if you can not attend, but know of people or groups that might be interested, please forward it along!
The workshop takes place from 7-9pm. The event will be preceded by a potluck dinner, starting at 6:30pm. Please bring a dish if you can and are going to participate in the potluck. The event is free and open to everyone, and childcare will be provided.
Presented by the Beehive Design Collective and the Minneapolis Autonomous Radical Space (MARS) Collective.
