Attention kids and families from Longfellow and beyond!

The Minnehaha Free Space’s new youth program, Youth Space, is set to begin on February 23, and registration is now open.  The program runs Saturdays from 1-3pm and includes facilitated playshops on topics such as puppetmaking, gender creativity, creating accessible playgrounds, and more, as well as snacks, art and social time for youth and families.  It’s all FREE and transportation assistance is available.

Suggested age range for the program is 5-14; this guidelines is not prohibitive as all playshops will differentiate activities and encourage older youth to help younger counterparts.
