Join a community-led discussion and q&a session on refugees from Syria in its political context. This is a safe space to ask questions, and to come up with radical solutions against state violence from Syria to the U.S. We can be the seed of action. We will not consume images of tragedy passively. We will fight for the basic rights of all people to safety, security and shelter while supporting every effort to return justice and peace to our homelands. As diverse members of the Twin Cities, how can we join together to unite around these goals and tie them to relevant struggles for justice around the world?
Discussion will be facilitated by Suzan Boulad
Dinner will be provided. Feel free (but not obligated) to bring a dish to share.
